"5 of 50" will be the first performance of the series we would like to present in diffrent cities of Europe: 5 dancers from the international group of 50 artists, that were part of this unique project “50 days Costa Rica”, will perform with live music. The dancers interconnected by a thought, vision of dance, shared experience, practice and 'THE' master will meet with the band Tetterapadequ - musicians, with whom some of them already had played in different projects, but other constalletions. In these new artistic circumstances, all the group stands strongly for open up senses, physicality, energy, imagination, invisible powers, ensamble work and life experience coming through in this performance evening. “Return/Departure” is the first project of the series “5 of 50”. This performance will occur just after the dancers returned from Costa Rica and right before the band Tetterapadequ will depart for their first USA tour.

Passing On Passing Through- dance improvisation practice
After the return to Amsterdam, “Passing on Passing Through” emerges from a desire and a need to continue experimenting and developing further this practice. As Anne said, it is like a drug- once you've started you want more...
“Passing on passing through" - dance improvisation practice is directed to professional dancers. The content of the training is passing on the principles of David Zambrano's "Passing Through" yet adapted to our own artistic curiosities, vision of contemporary dance and embracing our professional experience. The practice focuses on opening up senses, strong physicality, guiding energy, imagination, invisible powers, ensemble work and challenges life experience to manifest in the body. Within this practice we offer an intense process that aims to lead you towards unknown places and to be challenged by the complex simplicity of the introduced elements.
This workshop is offered by Cristina Leitão, Malgorzata Haduch and Maaike v.d. Westeringh – dancers, who participated in the unique project “50 days Costa Rica ”.
In BLOCK1 we introduce movements in vertical, focusing on spirals, basic of looping, pathways in the space, leading&following, cohesion&expansion, curves, arrivals&departures and musicality of the group composition.

It is not possible to participate in individual sessions as this practice is thought as a step by step process.

The DAY PROJECT by Clarice Lima is closing up with the Flash Mob on Plaza de La Cultura, San Jose, Costa Rica... Clarice has made in total 50 short and super short movies inspiered by the 50 days workshop. On the blog we have posted only some of the 50's but all of them are on Clarice's website.

Usually we do the oposit: when back to Europe- putting on web, sending and showing the exotic beaches, palmeras and tropics, but from here, my own home town seems exotic...

“Podróżowanie. Przyjemność całego życia. (…) ale jaki jest sens tego wszystkiego? Szczerze mówiąc nigdy się nad tym nie zastanawiałem.
(…) Podróżowanie mnie podniecało, ładowało, dawało do myślenia, pozwalało żyć. Przyjazd do nowego kraju, do jakiegoś odległego miejsca, to był za każdym razem płomień, zakochanie, czułem się przepełniony emocjami.
